Remploy Frontline is building on the military success of its Cougar and Panther CBRN suits. The new "Coumil" and "Panmil" suits were developed to meet the changing and varied needs of the world's military CBRN teams.
The Coumil (two-piece) and Panmil (one-piece) offer the latest advances in CBRN protection and reaffirm the company's commitment to "Survival Evolution." The Coumil and Panmil solutions fit comfortably over the wearer's uniform, providing comfort and full freedom of movement.
Improvements to the garments include:
- A lighter weight carbon lining (50g)
- An asymmetric front fastener - to reduce bulk at front neck; storm cuffs at ankles and wrists for additional protection and comfort
- Velcro fasteners on legs that are sewn at an angle to aid fastening; a single-handed cord lock adjustment on jacket hem for adjustment ease
- Velcro on the braces of the two-piece suit, for easier adjustment with no slippage
- The vacuum-packed suits have a 10-year shelf life and are washable up to five times
- Suit weight is 2.1 kilograms
The ensembles offer unprecedented protection against liquid chemical splash, vapour and biological hazards as with the earlier versions of these popular CBRN suit solutions and are fire retardant.
The Coumill and Panmill suits can be fully integrated with a customer's choice of mask, boots, gloves, SCBA, and hands-free re-hydration devices - all available through Remploy Frontline as part of an integrated solution. This demonstrates Remploy Frontline's dedication to creating best of breed solutions for the CBRN community worldwide, meeting current or planned tough industry standards.
